Derange is a British Rap Metal band from London. Formed in 2012, the group consists of vocalist Cat Pereira, guitarist Nick Crosby, bassist Joe Macpherson and drummer Nick Fullerton.
In its early formation, Derange consisted of solely vocals, drums and guitarist Ruslan Zhurbin, which collaborated in the first songs ever written in the band. But in the same month several commitments, prompted Ruslan to depart from the project and was replaced by Nick Crosby, followed by Joe, which concluded the final lineup of the band.
The band draws inspiration from heavy rock instrumentation, as well as Nu Metal acts such as Rage Against the Machine, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Deftones, and progressive rock bands such as Periphery and Dream Theater. The angry lyrics and energetic riffs also mark their work. After many months of songwriting and rehearsals, the band travelled to Emeline Studios in Kent, to record their 3 Track EP, which will be released very soon
