Twice Mine was formed in December, 2008. Will Kearney, the sometimes lead guitarist and vocalist has been
writing songs since January, 2008. After months of creating variations on the originals songs (acoustically),
finally a decision was made to build that band that was needed to create the sound and impact they desired.
After months of interviews, he finally met up with Austin Collins who agreed to join the band as the drummer.
Austin’s brother, Alec, soon followed performing guitar on all of the tracks of the band’s EP “This Hopeless
City”. As many bands do, Twice Mine struggled to find the right fit for a bassist, and finally decided upon the
addition of Steven Blackley after struggling with the recruitment process.

During the recording of their breakout EP, Alec became engaged and had to leave the band. Replacing him was
Will’s friend Clay Wilson, who provided several tracks for the nearly completed EP.

With the release of their debut EP “This Hopeless City”, Twice Mine was able to shed light on the cast of
characters that made up the band. With their lead single, “Mouths of Lions”, you will hear classic imagery of
fighting and winning over powerful opponents. Its heavy guitars, power house vocals and those deep tribal
drums take this song to a different level than most rock songs. What is unique about this group, they give each
member the ability to shine with their talents, writing creative bits that capture your attention and hold on right
to the end.

Having played together for nearly two years, Twice Mine has honed their craft to a razor’s edge, offering strong
performances across Tallahassee in various venues.
