Hey everybody whats up sorry its been so long since ive wrote up a blog on what crosstown collision has been getting into... welllllll the real thing is now where to start ummm.. Crosstown Collision has been working in the studio trying to get our cd done for our release date may7,2011. with in the time spent in the studio we encountered so many computer problems but the equipment is back up and going so we are back to full speed on that..
this past sat. we had a huge bar gig at our home town pub brantwood in north judson, In. we rocked a 4hr set mixed with all our own songs and a good mix of some covers, like twist and shout, free bird, and shout just to mention a few. people didnt know what to expect but they loved it. the bar turned into one big party and crosstown had everybody dancing. It was nice to see ska music so excepted in a place were 99% of the people dont know what it is.
Crosstown also has advanced on to the next interviewing round with gorilla production. the band will be awarded a plaque for winning the voting rounds back in jan. and feb. The next interview round is for an article spread in a large national music magazine. The band is super stoked to be apart of this, this door has opened to so many new things and awsome shows, just wanna let everybody know we cant thank everybody enough for all the help, love, and support everybody has been giving us.. you fans keep being awesome and we keep writing and playing music for everybody to have fun and party tooo
