Crosstown Collision has been busy all month long between playin Indianapolis 3 times in a matter of weeks and recording at drag line studios. Sorry I havnt been updating often but ill tell ya how its been going and what is coming up for crosstown.

Crosstown Collision went to Indy to play on the ska is dead young guns tour at the hoosier dome. We kicked the show off as the crowd got reved up the forthrights took over playing some sweet ska/reggae. the crowd got into as the place started to become super packed, and We are the union started to play some ska/punk got people moving all around. To top the night Green room rockers played there sweet ska/reggae sound filled the venue to make that show by far one amazing time.

We found ourselves back in Indy to play at Punks don't give a fest at one awesome venue called the Es jungle. This was an all day festival of punk bands from all over indiana and shot baker dropped in to headline the show. It was an intense time of loud, fast, punk music and circle pits. Crosstown played in the middle of the show had a huge crowd that was super active to our tunes. Had people skanking around the whole time. We played a cover that night "stand by me" kicked it like an 80s prom. boys on one side girls on the other, then got the guys to break the ice and slow dance with there gals. Show went super great got some videos up on youtube of the show. Wanna say thanks to the piradical production guys for making those two shows of april some amazing ones.

Crosstown hit up drag line studios to record our first ever album. Things back in our home studio failed competers crashed, projects lost, license ran out, but anyway these awesome dudes heard of our delema and offered to help. Our cd release is may7th so we had some work to do. Went in on Monday for 18hrs of recording. We ended up getting over half the cd done that day with guitar, bass, drums, and vox. Wed. We went in to record horns got them almost all finished up. Heading back this coming Thursday to finish recording and master to send to another guy helping us mass produce these babies for you the fans. Wanna also give a big thanks to terry and all the bands out of drag line studios for making us feel so welcome out at the studio and a big thanks to chris from the mud hippies and josh from the crop for helping produce this album.

May7th Crosstown Collision first ever cd release "From the Inside Out" $10..... release show at our home town of north judson, Indiana at the old fire house show is at 3:30pm..


The bungolo in logansport,In. Was visted by a few groups of wild musicians coming to rock out and drink pabs blue ribbon out the bottle. Crosstown Collision, Running Late, and the Crop played out that night to a smaller crowd of the locals but had a few big name guys in our area show up like Swish from A Failed Escape, Frank from Unlawful assembly, and Shane from track9. It was a nice rocking relaxing night hanging out at the local pub.

Crosstown Collision Goes back to Indy to rock the emerson theater. It was an awsome show hosted by Gorilla Production. There was a lot of up and coming bands at this show. The headliners were Crosstown and The worlds slowest come back. There was a crowd of almost 200 not bad for it being easter weekend kinda a bummer but fans still came cuz they love us and we love them. Thanks for making that an amazing show. Thank you kate and kylee for doing ur best to put my wireless back in my pocket after it jumped out as I was indeed jumping around and getting crazy, but not as crazy as the crowd. Thanks everybody for coming out to that show. If ya missed it we got videos up on youtube of it check em out.

Well that's about it for this month we go in the studio this Thursday to finish the album and may 7th is our cd release. We have 3 local gigs coming up in and around wolverhampton, first this saturday (the 30th april) at walkabout with a really good band called The Essence, then we're playing the Varsity on Saturday 21st May then we have a small headline gig Darlaston Conservative Club on Wednesday 15th June.
