Crosstown has been soo busy this month of june. Im sorry I haven't kept up on the blogging of how the shows have been going. Well here it is a quick outline of this past month.
AmandaIndiana bday party at brantwood bar an grill kicked off a good month. The crowd came far an wide to meet up at the local bar in North Judson,In. Crosstown Collision played a 3 to 4hr set celebrating our managers birthday. Fans were pumped to come out and hang out and party with the band. There was a special guess appearance at the bar by the local bar band kunundrum. Super stoked after the show people were still dancing on there way out of the bar.
Mintfest in North Judson,In. Was the next show that set the guys back into action. Was an awesome time playing at the town wide festival with a stage that reminded me of something id see at warptour, just amazing. People young an old gathered around to hear Crosstown Collision. The band gave the people something they never heard before Ska/ punk/rock n roll. Everybody walked away that day with a smile.
Boozday Tuesday logansport,In. At the corner pub bands Indianapolis forever,subatomic, track9, and Crosstown Collision rocked the little bar. Touring bands Indianapolis forever and subatomic played an awesome show. Local bands track9 kicked off the night getting everybody in the mood for some live bands.Crosstown. Collision ended the night with a packed busy bar in the best little local spot for great music. Next time we play at the corner pub come out an have a good time with us.
reggies rock club in chicago was such a experience. The stage the lighting the balcony seating the 3bars an a record store next to a awesome food shack. really amazing time. Crosstown Collision went up early to enjoy and partake in being in chicago because its not often we get to go there, but this was a special occasion it was Crosstowns first time ever playing in chicago. Crosstown headlined the show. As the band was setting up the rush of people to the stage was overwelming. Then the first notes of the intro hit an fans went wild. As sweet valley started playing people started skanking around letting the music take em. By the end of the night I would like to say Crosstown made alot of new first time fans.
