Follow Through by Jon Wayne and The Pain builds upon the success of the group’s self-titled 2008 debut album. Making guest appearances on the album are Slightly Stoopid’s horn players and percussionist Christofer “C Money” Welter, Daniel “DELA” Dela Cruz, and Oguer “OG” Ocon. Minneapolis hip-hop artist Yoni also contributes to the album with a unique indie hip-hop meets roots-reggae track. Known for crafting songs that not only entertain but often inspire as well, this release finds Jon offering an optimistic update to the tales of personal struggle from the debut album that allowed fans to gain a surprisingly intimate understanding of his motivations. Now seemingly at peace with his turbulent past, Follow Through presents a well earned opportunity to look back upon how far they come while setting their sights firmly on ever greater heights to come.
The trio’s debut full length, Jon Wayne and The Pain, was first released in May of 2008. The songs on the album had been stacking up in the band’s set list for years. Many of the tracks were written well before “The Pain” was a rhythm section. Wayne had played acoustic shows with a few fiends in Fargo in a project called Happens Often. While Jon covered many songs from his idols, Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, and the like, his own words and melodies took shape in the smokey Side Street Bar. After moving to Minneapolis and forming Jon Wayne and The Pain, the catchy original tunes multiplied while practicing and playing house parties at Wookiefoot’s infamous Playhouse. During this time Jon Wayne and The Pain would define their own niche in the Reggae-Rock genre. Jon’s acoustic guitar, sometimes clean, sometimes distorted or funked out by a wawa pedal always made his Blues Junior amp sing. What made fans flock to this sound most was Jon’s clear voice and sincere, memorable lyrics about addiction, friendship, and love.
Yo USP! kinda short notice and we have really been sucking at posting shit and updating all our profiles, but we are throwin' down tomorrow night at The Venue w/ Sovereign Sect and DJ Logic. It's gonna be bonkers and for all of our underage friends, this show is 18+!!! We would love to see some familiar faces out and about. Hope to see you there!!!

Hey everyone!
Thanks a lot for reading our blog. This page was created to help finding the band members mostly.
Right now, we are in the midst of writing enough material for our debut EP and looking for serious, dedicated members. If you know any who plays guitar, bass, drums or keys and are chill dudes to hang out with, please let us know or let them know we're looking for guys like them.
Right now we are playing with Jake Pierson on drums, but he is only a temporary fill-in due to him having to leave for college at the end of summer.
Here's our contact info for anyone who may be interested in trying out or if you have any questions/concerns, please don't hesitate to ask:
